It has been said by non-believers that people who believe in Jesus have been brain washed. I accept that description!!
I have washed my mind in the WORD of GOD and I am not ashamed of that. ;-) I had a very dirty mind and it truly needed to cleansed of its detrimental affects on my life. In all honesty, it needs to be cleansed on a daily basis.
If you are going through a very rough time in life right now and your thoughts are telling you to give up or that you will never get past your current condition, then you need to wash your mind in the scriptures.
God's Word is a message of HOPE and ENCOURAGEMENT! HIS thoughts toward you are peace, and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. HE conveys these thoughts in HIS WORD.
Today, put Romans12:2 to work in your life! It is alright to be brain washed by GOD!!!

We have perfected Praise and Worship, but I believe the time has come to perfect the art of Honor!
Romans 13:7 tells us to give honor to whom honor is due and for far to long this has been done only in lip service. In other words, people feel that if they say something nice about someone that they are honoring them. This is far from the true essence of honor.
True honor is not in what you say, it is in what you do. You honor your parents through obedience. You honor your boss by doing the very best job you can.
You honor you spiritual covering by assisting them in the vision God has given them. Most importantly, YOU HONOR GOD BY THE LIFE YOU LIVE.
It is good that you gather in the corporate setting and sing praises to HIM and that you also worship HIM from deep within your heart. BUT if the life you are living is not according to HIS plan for you, you dishonor HIM.
HE created you with a divine purpose and destiny in mind for your life. If you are living life to only please yourself and those around you without regard to what please HIM, you dishonor HIM.
It is time to renew your mind through the WORD of GOD, revive your spirit in the PRESENCE of GOD and make a conscious decision to live your life according to the PURPOSE of GOD!

God is still painting your portrait. Do not look at the unfinished work and judge it. The tapestry of life is your back drop and sometimes it just looks like colors thrown together without reason. BUT GOD will begin to take those colors and outline them to form clarity in the reason for them being there. When HE is finished, your portrait will be a Masterpiece for all to see.

How much time do you spend in the presence of God?
I have listen to countless numbers of speakers and singers over the years and one thing that is evident is their relationship with the Lord. You see, no matter how great an orator you are or how talented a singer you are, it does not replace the Anointing of GOD on your life.
His anointing is literately HIS SPIRIT smeared all over you. That does not happen without you being in HIS PRESENCE.
Should you work at improving your craft? Absolutely, but that work should be done in the Presence of God. I have been in Choir rehearsals when the Presence of God was so heavy we couldn't sing for worshiping. I have been brought to tears in HIS PRESENCE while preparing a WORD for a service.
In all that you do in the name of "Ministry", never forget, you do it unto an audience of one. Whether you stand before 5 people or 50,000 people your focus must be The Lord.
Your anointing will increase as your relationship with HIM increases. As with any relationship, the more time you spend with HIM, the deeper your understanding will be of HIS ways, HIS desires and who you are to HIM. You will become more and more acquainted with the depth of HIS love for you.
Emerge yourself in the PRESENCE OF GOD, and you will grow in Favor with God and man!

I am up, it is the middle of the night but God chose this time to encourage me and I would like to pass the encouragement on. So, here is a Kingdom Empowerment Nugget for you:
FOCUS: To accomplish any goal, you have to focus. When you lose your focus you veer off course and the goal becomes out of focus. What normally causes this is called a distraction. Distractions can come in many different forms such as people, situations and thoughts. Distractions can be very subtle. You will be pressing toward your goal and suddenly something will occur or someone will appear and cause you to miss your timing of completion. Next thing you know, you haven't done anything toward reaching your goal in days, weeks and sometimes years.
Be mindful and do not entertain your distractions for long periods of time. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you on your path to fulfilling your God ordained goals.
You will need HIM to increase or enhance your discernment. You see, some things we think are distractions is part of the journey to completing the goal, but then there are those things that the enemy will put in our path to keep us from reaching our goal.
As I continue on my path to fulfilling my God ordained destiny I learn more and more each day that I cannot reach my goal without HIM.
That is the most important part of this nugget, YOU NEED THE SPIRIT OF THE LIVING GOD TO STAY FOCUSED AND ACCOMPLISH YOUR GOAL!

Has anyone every made you feel inconsequential or of a lesser value than someone else? Let's talk about turning that negative feeling into a positive. No this is not about defending yourself or getting even.
This is about getting focused! It is time to focus on The God Given Gifts and Talents HE has placed in YOU!!!! You don't have time to waste on whether or not someone else sees your value or acknowledges the great job you did or even the fact that you were there for them in their time of need. It is what it is!!
What has GOD equipped you to do? Your true value is found in your availability to HIM. HE has placed greatness in each of us, some of us value our uniqueness in which HE created us. Some of you need to find out who HE created you to be.
I recently got a little tick about someone's blatant misrepresentation of what they had in mind for my participation in a joint project. My first reaction was to call them out on it, but Father God clearly said NO, leave it alone. Now any of you who truly know me, knows that is not my nature to not say anything. However, I know when I'm in GOD School and need to learn a lesson. The lesson was what I am sharing with you right now.
It is not about what someone sees or doesn't or how they repay or don't my willingness to help or work with them. It is about what has God called me to do. It is about always keeping HIM as my focus. My value is wholly in HIM as HIS creation and daughter.
Instead of retaliation, it is time to refocus. What you have experienced was your wake up call to diligently pursue your purpose and in you pursuit, help as many along the way as possible.
You have been fearfully and wonderfully made to impact all you come in contact with. You don't have time for pity parties or negative emotions. IT IS TIME TO ARISE AND SLAY YOUR GIANTS!! LIVE LIFE ON PURPOSE and within YOUR PURPOSE!
